Perfect timing with the reprise of the trainer question. I think the majority of trainers feel this way at some point or time. Its so hard to know when to continue and when to quit when you job is also your passion...but may not be paying the bills! Thanks for all you do :-)

Admin reply: Yes, I thought it was apropos as well. All trainers go through these kinds of situations but few discuss them as eloquently as this young gentleman. By the way, he is now doing wonderfully, with a good training job and nice clients.

Hi Just found your site. I have a question, what is the best way to determine if a Morgan mare is correct enough to train for in-hand classes? Can you do an article on Morgan in-hand training?

Admin reply: Thank you for your interest. Because of the volume of questions I recieve, I must ask they be submitted to Shakeytail@aol.com so the are kept organized. Thanks again.

Hello Lonnie

I fondly remembered you and your love for horses. I was just wondering if you still remember me.

By best regards,

Dan
cousin

Admin reply: Dan,

Although the name is very familiar, I must say not exactly. Refresh me please. I am old after all.

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer the many questions that you recieve! I have a question that nobody can seem to answer, not even my trainer (who you know very well!). Who invented or came up with the idea of a double bridle, and why? Thanks! Krysi

Admin reply: Thank you for your kind words and interest. Please send your question to Shakeytail@aol.com. That is the "clearing house" for all questions and because there are so many..the only way we can keep them organized.

Thanks for having this site. Sooo many people in this industry are not willing to share information. The Saddlebred Association is here to maintain the integrity of the breed. You have embodied that in having such a great site.
Thanks, James E. Gardner Jr.

Admin reply: Thank you for your kind comments. Four generations of the Lavery family have been so very lucky as to have been quite successful in a business we each have loved. The business, the horses and the people, all have been wonderful to us. This web site is my humble way of trying to give something back to an industry that has given my family so much.
